balls! thats this weekend?
some good points. Im frustrated at having to spend all night chasing people to get one single kill. And its not our enemies fault, but if there ARENT enough minmatar willing to fight, you have to question the point in this RP war at all.
I know that our enemies can crow all night if they want about having a dual MWD flitting about in amarr catching those little morsels now and again when a pilot isnt paying attention, but I trained as a BS pilot, and I dont want to start retro training frigate/mwd skills just to have a frigate/cruiser to fight eveyr now and then.
So what do we do now? I guess from an RP sense Pie have won the war? no solid resistance, no minmatar willing to fight?
As has been said before, mostly I like our minnie foes, can we shape RP to actually work together towards a "common foe"?
its frustrating logging in and having little to do apart from Agent missions.
man, these thinly veiled "you dont fight unless you vastly outnumber your enemy" comments from you Hakera are totally out of order. PIE engage loads of times when hopelessly outnumbered.
not 2 weeks ago myself and 4 other pilots warped into a gate where we knew 10-12 enemies would be and we came out on top.
This has happened several times since ive been back in the game.
Feel free to rubbish us mate, but at least be factual.
QUOTEwe can hide knowing that you would get bored and leave and visa versa. We losing nothing by not fighting.
Yes you do.... you lose face.
Much like last night, big force of minnies comes to cause trouble, pie arent around, we form up with a similarly sized fleet, you all scatter and/or log.
Now lets look at the night before that one, relatively small Pie+Black sheep fleet flies into Minnie space (5-6 ships) you lot (as in ebil minnies) show up with 10-12 ships, we organise ourselves well, and just do our best. We sent your lot packing.
You have to question these wars sometimes. most of our enemies either run at the first sign of trouble, or log. Makes me wonder why you dont just surrender sometimes, then we can use our war slots on someone that actually wants to be at war!
NB: not particularly referring to you hakera, but all of our enemies in general. It occurs to me that most of the minnie players are happier mining/trading/agents/0.0 hunting. Seems they are only being in a war with us cos its "cool".
I feel sorry for those of you that try and bring to fight to us in empire space with no help from your corpsmates and allies.
I also applied there Hakera, im hoping though that I dont need to stray from EVE again, but these problems are really pissing us all off atm.
I think yesterday, a rather large fleet we had assembled just ad hoc actually brought down the node in the evening.
We, I suppose are lucky, we still have plenty of pilots and PIE is getting stronger by the day. But, without something to shoot at, the game would lose a lot imho.
I see Maggot has begun an IC recruitment drive on Galnet today. Perhaps, servers willing, if more of the Minnie corps follow suit, we can have ourselves a viable war again
James Brown, fair enough, but ffs Hardin, Rod fucking Stewart? how old are you? 50? fucking hell........
And as for that last slapper, is that Rachel Stevens? if so...dude, you suck....really
In fact, im sure youre being ironic.... you MUST be
does anyone really care? it'll no doubt be kept gathering dust in someones hangar. Its a shame one of PIE/CVA's members didnt win it, it would ave certainly seen battle (though for how long....we'll never know now).
With regards to trying to get hold of it. If I had the countless millions needed to buy it, I woudnt waste my Isk. Aside from the pride of zooming around in it, it wouldnt last noticably longer in a pitched fleet battle than any other apoc.
For the record, it makes sense that these ships see the light of day. Personally speaking, If I were to ever come into ownership of a special edition minnie ship. I would give it to our enemies. Sure, I might lose ships to it, but better that than it being stashed away forever.
regardless of percentages, the fact is, we here at PIE are trying to collect 1000 pieces of exploded jovian
So a trade is not much use to us. The theory being that we wish to advance the whole Amarr race's standing with the Jovians by this gift, as opposed to the many, many people/corps who just want to know whats in it for them!
