Saw that for the first time today too. More interesting atm I think are the changes for cruisers they're testing on sisi (special rights needed to access the modified cruisers). They're changing the roles of a few lesser used cruisers.

T2 blueprint sale will seed more T2 blueprints, which is CCP's answer to make POS profitable again.
Contracts will be sweet. We could regulate the buying of T1 ships for the corp (or even the alliance)...
The medals and stuff are tied to factional warfare and will be RP-centered.
Interaction with planets might let us be able to take people from Minmatar space and sell them here as slaves (agents?). Though maybe that's not something that's good advertising

We need one person able to access the stockpile, nothing more. And with PIE people getting their own stuff by their own means, it would not affect them at all.

It would work only for those with big industrial backgrounds in place, Alliance sovereignty and POS's as a requirement for the Planet population, maybe even the frigging outposts. Making the planets basically contested sources for income, more 0.0 ganking. More money spent on Dreads and shit like that, games for the old gamers.

Nothing that we havent solved in alliance by the time the 'improvements' kick in.
Basically there is nothing for people that do not already have immense industrial backing or ridiculous amounts of ISK. The measuring people against them each other is only about those who like in WoW like grinding honor for 40+ hours a week. Its totally and utterly pointless.

The tech 3 stuff sounds nice but things seem to point out that only Outposts can have access to that research and production. Newbies will mine, the older players will make the profit. Just like since day one. Its not veldspar they're mining, they're mining Excavation sites.
Im just in a foul mood. And people getting ecstatic about something that is copied straight from MMORPGs or the same old shit with a new label just seems silly to me.

Well some good ideas in there. The adding system content and stuff ect.
But overall I have to agree with Lall.
As for the medals crap... dont fix something that isnt broken. They JUST got the current war system working, and objectives and crap should be player defined from the beggining. When you accomplish your objectives, you end the war. Dont need them hard coded in.... and definitely dont need to get medals hardcoded in.
Now if they want to give medals like Golans for things, that might be cool. Especially if they allowed you to take blanks and make your own medals and give them to people. That would be a decent RP thing. Would allow loonies like Russo to have their self awarded chestful, and allow more rational corps to give them out.
But the idea of a permanent implant 'medal' cause you satisfied some condition in game is fairly lame IMO.
I prefer medals as motivation to the mere counting of kills.
Sure, most stuff in there is high-end content. So what? The game is two years old now and having more stuff to keep the old hands occupied is not bad IMHO.
