LIVERPOOL FC FTW
Best game of football ever...
3-0 down at half time to AC Milan (Italian team - 9 clean sheets in last 12 games)
3-3 fulll time
Liverpool win on penalties \0/
Been a lean few years for Liverpool fans like me
I "watched" the game on the live commentary at Soccernet.
Was sure at half-time that this was a done deal.
Gotta admit that Benitez guy is kinda good!
Was one hell of a game to watch, and my support was always with the Liverpool lads.

Liver pool rocks guess i know have to put a new tattoo on liverpool sig with the date
This makes me get a joyous lump in a throat, much the same feeling I get from blowing up terrorist battleships:
one of the best games i have ever seen!
kudos to both teams but tbh it was time somebody kicked some italian balls
oh and liverpool 4tw!
they made me 20bucks
Not being much of a footballer im gonna annoy everyone now and point out how far off the line your goalie was when he saved two of those penalties
he got to stay on the line?
being more of a handball player (and goalkeeper) myself i'm used to running around like a crazy chicken at a penalty more to make it harder to hit my nose than to annoy the thrower though
Not being much of a footballer myself I was at home playing EVE. But my house backs on to a pub and I can testify that the noise from cheering, singing etc was tremendous. I thought there must have been a lot of goals judging by the cheers, and now I hear it was 3 all and then penalties it makes sense
When the pub kicked out sometime after their last orders the cheering proceeded to the streets to the front of my house, where one enlightened young fan decided to strip naked and go running up the center of the high street wearing nothing but a grin
QUOTEGerrard was clearly determined not to let go of the trophy, having spent a few hours clasping it close to him in his hotel bed and still wearing his hard-won medal around his neck.
Parry revealed: "The cup ended up in Steven Gerrard's bed last night, he wouldn't let go of it."
Team-mate Vladimir Smicer added: "The cup ended up with Stevie G in his room. His girlfriend wasn't here, so he had the cup in his bed instead."
Parry wryly observed he would "have to see" whether Gerrard was allowed to follow through his aim of matching Phil Thompson's example in taking the trophy back to his local pub in 1984.
did you know the bookies were offering odds of 250-1 at half time for a liverpool win
damn missed an opportunity there lol
