The story of Mosrayan
I remember nothing of my former life. Where did I come from? How did I live?
I try not to let these questions plague my thoughts, but while sharing stories with fellow travellers and countrymen, I often wonder of places I have travelled, and the adventures I embarked on during my years as a mortal.
I only know of these times, and these times have been good to me. My earliest memories are of walking the plains with my dear friend Sharuul, a fierce and noble Tauren warrior. He taught me of the ways of his people, and told many amazing stories. I learned a great deal from my mentor, and the honour and respect I had for him and his brethren grew greater by the day as we shared adventures across the land. I cared not for the Forsaken, and Sharuul helped me turn my back on the barbaric and vile notions they stand for. I had no friends amongst my fellow Undead, and travelling far and wide meeting honourable adventurers of all races made me even more disillusioned with the many Undead warriors that so blindly follow the cruel intentions of their Forsaken masters.
Sadly, my friend Sharuul no longer shares my adventures, and I no longer share his. I do not know where he has gone, or if he still graces these lands, but our journey together came to an end after a tranquel fishing trip was cut short by a group of Humans that took exception to us using the lake that we often visited when the lands made us weary. We were chased from the valley, and when I turned to check on my dear friend he was no longer with me. I haven’t seen him since, and all clues to his whereabouts have disappeared with the winds of time; winds that grow fiercer by the day. I travelled far and wide searching for my friend, yet I came no closer to finding any trace of his presence.
Although my memories of Sharuul will always stay with me, I have learned to focus on other things. I have always appreciated the dashing beauty of the lands in which I have travelled, and I have discovered that powerful and unique properties can be found within many of the herbs and plants that lie here. Not only can these herbs and plants be collected and sold to vendors in the many places I have visited, but I soon discovered that I could use them to create powerful potions that can aid me along the way. I am still learning the subtleties of these skills, but they have given me a focus, one which has led me back to my home, and the areas around it which harbour such fascinating plants.
Yes I have returned home, and although the corruption and barbarity is still ever present among the rulers of my people, I will stick to my beliefs and hold true to the values of peace and knowledge. Fortunately my travel home has led me to a group of wonderful warriors from Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris and Lord Takumi who leads these loyal band of brothers. They share the same vision that I hold dear, that the war that has ravaged these lands for far too long is not the way to prosperity.
I am happy again. Although my long lost brother Sharuul is not with me, I have a new family. I hope one day that our paths will cross, and that PIE can welcome Sharuul as they have done with me, but if that day does not come I will always have my memories of him to aid my journey. I often talk about him with my new comrades, and they laugh and joke with me as I share the many tales of our adventures. But for now my adventures with PIE are just beginning, and I have much to do, so for those that are reading I bid you farewell.
Safe travels my friends.
Moving on is always hard
