The time is drawing near! Soon there shall be a gathering of all Tauren following the lead of Lord Takumi. The spirits have to be called and asked for guidance, tribute has to be paid to the earthmother.
Soon the call will go out to assemble in Bloodhoof village for the first Powwow of the tribe. For a tribal family within the guild we will be, continuing to follow the ancient paths of our people and not forgetting our roots. We are Praetorians and we are Thunderhorns, for Thunderhorn shall be the name of our small tribal community where everyone is everyones brother.
Every Praetorian is invited to participate in the powwow, for a powwow is celebrated not only to revere the earthmother and the ancestral spirits with dance and songs but also to meet friends and have a merry time. Our hunters will try to provide enough food for everyone and the peace pipe will be smoked. Contests to find the strongest bull or the wittiest fox will be held.
Pack up your wigwams and meet up in Bloodhoof village! The day will be announced here when the spirits have given us a sign that the time is right.
_"Grandfather, Great Spirit, once more behold me on earth and lean to hear my feeble voice. You lived first, and you are older than all need, older than all prayer. All things belong to you -- the two-legged, the four-legged, the wings of the air, and all green things that live.
You have set the powers of the four quarters of the earth to cross each other. You have made me cross the good road and road of difficulties, and where they cross, the place is holy. Day in, day out, forevermore, you are the life of things."
Hey! Lean to hear my feeble voice.
At the center of the sacred hoop
You have said that I should make the tree to bloom.
With tears running, O Great Spirit, my Grandfather,
With running eyes I must say
The tree has never bloomed.
Here I stand, and the tree is withered.
Again, I recall the great vision you gave me.
It may be that some little root of the sacred tree still lives.
Nourish it then
That it may leaf
And fill with singing birds!
Hear me, that the people may once again
Find the good road
And the shielding tree."_
the warriors have set out and the great hunt has begun. Let us gather in five moons to praise the Grandfather and the Earthmother, to strengthen the bond of blood that unites us and to pray for strength before we embark on our journey.
Say 'He hechetu' (that is all) to confirm that you will come.
