Amarr Refugees - Event
This is a formal request for PIE and their allies to assist in the return of Amarrian refugees from the Peoples Republic of Minmatar.
We are ready to transport a number of homeless, high ranking officials, and a member of one of your ruling families back to your care.
The time and date of this transfer will be agreed with your leaders.
Please read this thread……
the basic plot of the event will be as follows:
-Both the PRM and CVA, plus allies on both sides, will form two forces each, one for escort and one for interception. Please note that this is supposed to be a peace mission so no Battleships.
-PRM will escort a Mammoth from Hrober to a prearranged spot, somewhere between Tartraven and Amarr. CVA will bring an Amarr cargo ship.
-No shots will be fired until…...
-A series of events will then occur which will then require each fleet to try and escort its own cargo ship back home, whilst also attempting to capture the oppositions ship intact. The fleet leaders will of course have made plans for such an eventuality and prepared fleets for this.
-I am going to load up some tech 2 stuff into the cargo as a 'prize'. Hopefully CVA will do the same. But remember, do not destroy the cargo ships, hold them in place and demand the cargo be handed over, you will need the contents intact for your side to have 'won'.
-We would hope to have a no podding rule also for this event.
All of this will be done ic and roleplayed on the boards.
So each side will need the following:
-escort leader and fleet
-interceptor leader and fleet
-a cargo pilot
Would also be good to have a good author to finish off the galnet story with some nice detail about the ships, who were the refugees, etc.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Oh this sounds like a good video opportunity for both Amarr and Minmatar PR (both). I'm almost done with my new video (its been done for three days just having problems with Adobe Premiere putting it all together).
Are shots NOT going to be fired at all? If so I could do a "neutral" video looking at the issue from both sides and giving equal credit to both the Amarrian and Minmatar positions.
The event will start peacefully, but it will end in combat. I definitely think this would be a good one to film. Maybe we should discuss and agree on a suitable cinematic 'exchange' point.
Let me know who is going to be filming and I can make sure they are in the right channels.
