get ur facts straight.. NOINT has never used these kinda tactics and the PRM is not affiliated with FOM so what they do does not concern me...
lets make it simple, if you use Gang Tactics against our Forces, we will do exactly the same, we will also break the podding treaty...
ur choice, not mine...
i tought that 'treaty' was already broken?
Admiral, please read my reply to Hakera's thread.
FoM has used tactics even worse than this stupid gang feature.
I don't recall visiting the NOINT or FU2 forums and posting about it, and I lost a BS because of it.
Perhaps instead of all of us getting upset about all this crap we can use this as an opportunity to set some ground rules about our battles, so they can be fun again.
Feel free to contact me in game.
Bad case of selective memory here Iceblock
Take a deep breath eh, don't forget you are playing a game
Admiral IceBlock, you have to understand that Blacksheep is at war with a majority of CVA enemies last time I checked.
Just because Blacksheep doesn't have the war slots to cover every one or two man minmatar corp that declares on PIE doesn't mean that they shouldn't gang with us!
It's not like we're pulling people from Everlasting Vendetta or m0o. I've been attacked and chased off by Curse Alliance forces back in the day, trying to raid PFOM in klingt. Did I complain? YES, but that's besides the point.
OOC: Personally I would like to see ALL Caldari corps (Blacksheep, NOINT, and Unbroken Syndicate) leave the Amarr and Minmatar to settle our own affairs. Honestly role-play wise none of you really belong here. I am in this for the ROLE PLAYING, not the "l33t pwnage" that some of you seem more interested in. Flame or hate me if you want, that's just how I feel.
Have to agree with you Ezar... especially after posts like Silverlancers.
Admiral - I have a lot of respect for you. You came into our war and you fought and you didn't do the 1337 stuff and you took the RP halfway seriously... that seems to have gone out the window now with your new members....
I disagree Ezra,
tbh the whole minmatar/amarr slavery line does need soemthing to pick it up, it does seem like a familiar broken record with various battle reports that make it to galnet.
remember slavery is not restricted to minmatar, they are the most affected however. The amarr tread a tough line that makes them at odds with the other empires, this is reflected in the corps you face.
I was thinking on ways this story could be revived a little actually to breathe some fresh air into our galnet posts.
On a side note: where was the rest of your alliance last night?
Yes for once we actually managed to gather a force that outnumbered you, it could be different next week and you have more people on or we have less.
I see IG are very willing one night to mass gank me yet are nowhere to be seen when they are needed most?
You have trouble finding IG? I can't seem to catch anyone but IG and the occasional PIE member in Amarr.
I certainly know there willing to mass gank me, I think when they heard about my fight with the 2 DRS people they came in full force. Although the 2 DRS guys were enough to take me down they still came along at full speed.
I did a sustained raid in Amarr space for a couple of days which completely suits my character ingame as he is definetly an independant character(any people you saw fighting alongside me joined me by their choice there wasn't any organisation). I lost my Tempest in the end to DRS but it took down a number of BS's in its wake. Embarrasingly enough I was leaving to head back to Minmatar space when i lost it
True the smack talk was completely unnecessary and I was impressed as many of you made it out as you did.
I suppose I could step ooc for a moment to address Ezar's concerns...
And before I start, I'd like to say that your concerns about roleplay are more than valid. I sometimes think that the maturity of gamers in the CVA are it's biggest "obstacle" in game. They are more concerned about proper roleplay than winning, and that's what I like about working with them.
I don't want to go into Garreck's past in this particular forum, but the short of it is, he ran bounty hunting operations out of Amarr space for quite some time, and came to appreciate the culture that was so diametrically opposed to his own culture with which he had grown so disillusioned with. Blacksheep were formed in that time, a motley collection of bounty hunters, mercs, and even a couple of outright pirates looking to turn over a new leaf. Change is never easy, and irresponsible actions of a blacksheep member led to war with a minmatar corporation. Russo used his connections with one Gaius Kador to bring Blacksheep to PIE's attention. The opportunity to fight along side PIE in a real cause, a good cause, a cause which defended the culture which Garreck had come to admire and even love was too much to pass up.
And here we are. Garreck is a fighter...but he is a man searching for meaning. Fighting terrorists and protecting civilians has given him the cause he has so long searched for. His political views are very much moderate by Amarrian standards, and he doesn't get involved too much in the "who's right/who's wrong" debate. He protects a legally established and recognized Empire from the illegal activities of extremists who feel killing is the only answer. That is what Blacksheep are about.
Maybe not the best roleplay in the world, but it's a well known fact that we do not powergame. We are not rich; hell, I have a hard time properly equiping my ships sometimes. But it's an interesting twist on the story line to have a multi-racial corp (not just "caldari,") that works to protect the empire. And for goodness' sake, it's better than all the bandwagon war declarations and anti-slavery sentiment that has been going around!
The fact that many gamers are young, rebellious teenagers looking for freedom and self-determination in their real lives works against us here. It makes fighting for the minmatar a lot more appealing, and having young kids that can power game by day and "roleplay" by night by showing their 'leet' combat skills  gets pretty frustrating for the roleplayers on the other side of the spectrum. Let's face it, only a mature adult is going to see the appeal of pretending to be a righteous, superior race that enslaves other people. And mature adults have jobs and responsibilities. God bless, it gets frustrating to try and keep up with droves of powergamers joining the ranks of the other side.
Ahh...that feels better. Glad I could get that off my chest.
i cheered for Darth Vader when i was a kid
QUOTEi cheered for Darth Vader when i was a kid
funnily enough Golan I always compare our struggle sometimes to the star wars struggle between the rebels and the imperial empire, there are lots of similarities.
and yes, you are the darth vadar of Eve, im sure THAT music follows you when you walk
Hakera... he is your father!
Childish for a 24 year old
Sarkos as Yoda then?
Hardin as jaaba the hutt
Sarkos makes a very good Yoda, he disappeared before I joined Oracle and has only come back to whisper words of wisdom... just like the ghostly figure he is.
Hardin would make an interesting Jabba, and I suppose Siobhan would be Boba Fett.
I guess I would be either Han Solo or Wedge I'd prefer Wedge I dont like the idea of being defrosted
The firepower of the Deathstar is insignificant, compared to the darkside of the force-
I am your father Horatio , join me together we can rule the galaxy AS FATHER AS SON
i'm the great skarlagh and you will endure decades of pain in my intestinal system!
QUOTEI am your father Horatio
Explains where I got the chin from
Damn I always thought I was a Han Solo type (ooooerr)
However Jabba the Hutt is still preferable to Jar Jar Binks - on whom should we bestow that honour?
There can be no question.
Ka'lorn is Jar Jar.
