Wondering if I could ask a favour. A friend of mine has a query, and I reckoned one of you seasoned veterans might know the answer:
QUOTERighto, need a bit of advice.
While I'm doing agent missions, I am avoiding missions that involve killing ships of the major factions, Amarr, Gallente, Minmatar, and Caldari, so that I don't take a standing hit with any of them. However, when I get storyline missions from any of these factions my standings go up for 2 factions and down for the other 2. Fair enough, I understand that smile.gif
My question is, are there any factions that I can do missions for whose storyline missions give standing for all the 4 factions mentioned above and loose standing with the pirate factions or something?
I was thinking of trying a faction like the Servant Sisters of EVE, or CONCORD, or some other such empire covering faction. Does this work? I'd like to stay positive with all the 4 major factions without having to fanny about doing storyline missions for all the 4 factions to achieve some kind of balance. Is this possible?
Jezus, even a bigger carebear then i am...is that possible??
As im out of game and stopped missioning a long time ago, my info might be out of date. I think what your buddy wants is not possible.
But....There are skills to counter bad standings with factions, so even with all the whoring of amarr agents i did in the past, i still am able to enter minmatar space.
I don't think that the Servant Sisters like the Amarr much, and I'm not sure if CONCORD even has agents any more.
Interbus in theory should do it, but I recall hearing something about their agents not giving out important missions.
The best way would be to train up the Diplomacy skill, which helps prevent negative standings from getting too bad.
if you stick to missions with distrabution im sure you wont have a standing loss with anyone... though it does take alot longer to gain standings so pick a station with multiple distrabution agents
Get your ass back on eve Stu, we need you
I'm on most nights
OK, thanks for the info chaps.
